Job Description
Indian Springs Country Club is a bustling, private country club renowned for its vibrant and active tennis community. Our racket facilities include 8 recently resurfaced outdoor tennis courts, 4 indoor tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, and several social/gathering areas. We cater to members of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rackets to lead our rackets program, direct the pro shop operations, and elevate the member experience.
Position Overview:
The Director of Rackets will oversee and manage all aspects of our racket programs. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for:
· Developing, promoting, and administering a comprehensive, year-round program of clinics, lessons, leagues, events, and tournaments for adults and juniors.
· Hiring, training, and mentoring a team of high-performing racket sports professionals.
· Fostering strong relationships with members and ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
· Managing the pro shop, including ordering tennis equipment, apparel, stocking food and beverage, and hiring and training pro shop staff.
· Managing the department’s budget, including sales, inventory, payroll, and expenditures.
· Maintaining our facilities to ensure a first-class playing experience, including overseeing, hiring, and training racket-facility maintenance staff.
· Maintain Indian Springs’ racket Facebook page.

Requirements:· Minimum of 5 years experience in racket sports management, preferably in a country club setting.
· Professional certification from a recognized organization (e.g. USPTA, PTR, or equivalent).
· Proven leadership and staff-management experience.
· Strong playing and coaching background in tennis.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and staff in a variety of settings and using a variety of media.
· Business acumen, including budget management and program development.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the club.
· Passion for racket sports and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, fun, and competitive environment.
