Confidential Search – Director of Quality Location: Greater Detroit Area | Industry: Tier-1 Automotive | Full-Time We are partnering with a leading Tier-1 automotive supplier in a highly confidential search for a Director of Quality to lead the complete quality function across an automotive seating operation . The Director of Quality will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality performance and systems across multiple programs for major OEMs. This leader will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, managing audits and customer relationships, and ensuring full compliance with IATF 16949 standards in a Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage quality teams across multiple sites and/or programs Drive compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality systems Lead APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Represent the business in high-stakes customer audits and quality reviews Strengthen internal systems for continuous improvement and zero-defect performance Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and program management functions Requirements: 10+ years of automotive quality leadership experience, with a focus on assembly or automotive interiors/seating Strong technical understanding of automotive OEM quality standards Proven success in customer-facing quality leadership roles Experience managing teams in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments Please apply to the role through Linkedin to be considered.
