Job description Position Summary: We area seeking a seasoned Director of Quality to lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs across our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Director of Quality will oversee the inspection department, manage audits, and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while serving as the point of contact with the FAA and other regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and continuously improve RSG’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and other applicable standards. Lead and mentor a team of inspectors and quality personnel to ensure a consistent and high level of performance, accountability, and regulatory compliance. Provide strategic leadership for all quality-related functions, including audits, airworthiness directives (ADs), return-to-service authorizations, non-conformance resolution, and customer quality concerns. Ensure all maintenance and inspection activities are carried out in strict adherence to manufacturer instructions, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the calibration and certification of tools, ensuring traceability and compliance with metrology standards. Serve as liaison with the FAA and other regulatory agencies; lead audits and respond to findings with effective corrective actions. Review aircraft maintenance logs, inspection reports, and technical documentation to validate airworthiness and ensure appropriate sign-offs prior to return-to-service. Establish quality performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement data-driven improvements to reduce discrepancies and enhance product/service quality. Develop and deliver internal quality training programs and ensure that inspection staff maintain current knowledge on all applicable platforms and standards. Maintain in-depth working knowledge of supported aircraft platforms including: o Airbus: H125 (AS350) and H130 o Bell: 407 and 412 o Agusta/Leonardo: 109 and 119 Ensure consistent and accurate documentation within maintenance systems regarding operations, AOG status, delays, and compliance actions. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years in aviation maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or quality management role at a Part 145 MRO facility. Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required. Extensive experience with rotary-wing aircraft platforms; knowledge of Airbus, Bell, and Agusta helicopters is highly desirable. Strong understanding of FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Technical Orders (TOs), and applicable manufacturer maintenance publications. Demonstrated experience managing quality teams, FAA audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Work Schedule: Full-time | 40+ hours per week Overtime and travel as required based on operational needs Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $115,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year Benefits:
