Director of Quality The Quality Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Quality team to ensure quality and compliance across a multi-facility company. Develop strategy, translate into functional plans and guide execution of long-term goals. Essential Job Functions Acts as an ambassador for the company when dealing with customers and suppliers on audits, rejects, corrective actions and warranty claims. Develop, implement and improve quality control policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Lead/mentor quality team across multiple facilities focusing on continuous improvement. Oversee the quality process, including inspections, testing, and significant internal, external and auditing. Analyze data to identify trends/areas for improvement. Perform data driven decision making. Work with other departments to integrate quality processes throughout the organization Prepare and present quality control reports to senior management Develop and conduct training programs for staff on quality control practices Determine Root Cause for deficiencies and develop preventative and corrective actions. Meet customer expectations including auditing, compliance with customer requested standards, reporting and additional needs as they arise. Some travel required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Metallurgy or a related field. 5 years’ experience in quality control within manufacturing, including experience in a managerial or director role. Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a machining and/or foundry environment. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards ( ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 14001). Demonstrated expertise in quality management systems. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions based on common sense and technical expertise. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis and methodologies. Strong leadership and team management abilities. “We're an equal opportunity employer.
