Our client is a global manufacturer of automotive parts, operating as a Tier 1 supplier to some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. We are currently hiring for a Regional Director of Quality for North America, to lead and elevate the regional quality strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. This position will drive transformation initiatives within complex automotive environments and lead the improvement of quality management systems, OEM standards, and an overall cultural change. Key responsibilities include: Lead and execute the regional quality strategy aligned with global objectives and customer expectations. Drive quality transformation initiatives, including digitalization, standardization, and systems integration across multiple locations. Act as a senior liaison between site quality leaders and executive management to ensure alignment and execution of quality KPIs. Provide hands-on support and governance to site quality teams across the Americas, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements. Ensure robust APQP, PPAP, and problem-solving processes are embedded across the region. Champion lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and organizational change within quality operations. Lead cultural change programs to elevate the role of quality as a competitive differentiator. Interface directly with OEM customers on quality topics, including warranty issues, product launches, and containment actions. Represent the quality function in cross-functional leadership forums and drive collaboration with engineering, operations, and supply chain. Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred). 15+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within theautomotive Tier 1 supplier environment, including multi-site responsibility and leading teams (5+ years experience) Proven success managing quality during business transformation, operational restructuring, or digitalization initiatives.
