About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and hands-on Director of Quality Assurance to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive quality strategy. In this vital role, you will establish and guide the QA function with a particular focus on leveraging AI-driven testing automation while building a world-class QA team. You will be responsible for defining a strategic vision for QA, enhancing automation frameworks, and promoting the integration of AI technologies to boost test efficiency and effectiveness.
In this position, you will own QA processes, set quality KPIs, and cultivate a culture of shared accountability for quality within the organization. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field, along with a minimum of 8 years of QA experience in SaaS or eCommerce environments, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience within startup or high-growth scenarios is essential, along with a proven ability to manage distributed or offshore QA teams effectively.
The role requires robust expertise in testing SaaS APIs and complex distributed systems, as well as proficiency in Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.
