```html About the Company We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Project Management Office (PMO) to establish and lead our PMO in a growing business. About the Role As the Director of PMO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project execution and delivery. You will also be responsible for building and managing a team of project managers and providing strategic guidance to senior management on project portfolio management. This is a critical role that requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a strong background in project management. Responsibilities Establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) function within the organization. Develop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and effective project execution. Define and enforce project management standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across projects. Build and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-performance and professional development. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving issues to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes. Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and systems to support project planning, tracking, and reporting. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on project portfolio management, resource allocation, and prioritization of projects. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the PMO and across project teams. Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and changes. Conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and drive process improvements. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Required Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, including leading complex projects from initiation to completion. Demonstrated experience in establishing and leading a PMO or similar function within a growing organization. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (if applicable).
