Director of Project / Change Management

The Director of Project/Change Management is responsible for leading the organization’s strategic change initiatives, focusing on managing the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. This role ensures all change efforts align with Verland’s mission and strategic goals, fostering innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of high-impact change initiatives across the organization. Ensure all RFI/RFP processes follow Verland’s policies and support strategic priorities. Serve as a key member or chair of the Change Management Committee (CMC). Evaluate change requests based on organizational goals, resources, risk, and stakeholder input. Support Project Leads (PLs) and Project Oversight Committees (POCs). Oversee project timelines, vendor identification, and RFP development. Ensure timely and compliant execution of change management projects. Coordinate with internal departments for alignment and communication. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and feedback. Track progress and report updates to leadership. Use data and scorecards to evaluate proposals and outcomes. Promote a culture of innovation and learning. Identify opportunities for process improvement and growth. Represent Verland in vendor negotiations and external partnerships. Perform other related duties. Requirements: Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Proven success in managing RFI/RFP processes and leading cross-functional teams. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of nonprofit operations, regulations, and industry standards. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Minimum Training and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; Master’s preferred. At least 5 years of experience in change management, strategic planning, or project leadership. Experience with individuals with IDD. Must pass background checks.
