Summary of Job Duties:
The Co-Director will partner with the Program Director to provide leadership and strategic direction for the South-Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC), a federally funded program through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) that has maintained continuous support for over 15 years.
This role involves overseeing daily operations, developing and managing projects, ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements, and guiding staff through supervision, training, and professional development. The Co-Director supports strategic planning, budget oversight, and the successful execution of program deliverables.
Additional duties include coordinating conferences and events, managing website content and marketing materials, facilitating meetings, hosting site visitors, and leading outreach and communication initiatives. The position also contributes to departmental activities such as grant development, event planning, and promotion of telehealth education and awareness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher PLUS five (5) years of administrative and program management experience
Experience managing budgets and supervising staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in public health, business administration, communications, or a related field
Experience in telehealth program management or healthcare grant administration

Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for SCTRC programs and related grants
Collaborate with the Program Director on program planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet federal deliverables and performance goals
Oversee program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with HRSA and UAMS fiscal requirements
Supervise and mentor staff, promoting professional growth and high-quality performance
Coordinate regional and national conferences, workshops, and educational events, including logistics and vendor relations
Oversee development of website content, digital materials, and promotional collateral in partnership with communications staff
Lead community and stakeholder engagement activities to strengthen partnerships and expand the reach of telehealth initiatives
Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation for HRSA and institutional leadership
Serve as a representative of SCTRC at meetings, conferences, and outreach events
Support departmental initiatives through event planning, grant writing, and marketing efforts
Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission of IDHI and UAMS
