Director of Product Marketing & Business Development
Overview
BraveNewTalent is looking to hire a Director of Product Marketing and Business Development in San Francisco to take ownership of our global sales, marketing and communications strategy. The role will include Business Development responsibility as well as a core product marketing role. In time the company will recruit a sales Director to work along side you. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Shorten Sales velocity to Organizations for the BraveNewTalent proposition
2. Create and implement a B2B and B2C strategy which will improve our KPI’s on User Growth, Engagement and Retention
3. Identify and estimate our current nominal KPIs and project KPI growth to achieve BraveNewTalent’s goals
Reports To: CEO
Direct Reports: UK Head of Marketing, India Platform Evangelist and Community Manager.
Relationships: CEO, CTO, Director of Strategy, Director of Experience, Board

The role
Director-level role, with global remit and responsibility
Driving brand awareness, Talent and Organization acquisition and retention
Formulation & implementation of marketing strategy in line with business objectives
Ownership of all aspects of product marketing
Ownership of distribution channels, including setting the affiliate and partnering policy
Direction and management of a globally distributed team
Leadership over sales and targets before a Sales Director is hired
Business Development responsibility to open and close new clients and client success and support
Oversee all sign off of marketing & sales related spend

Your Core Skills
8+ years of experience in Business Development, Product marketing & communications
Proven experience in B2B and B2C marketing
Proven track record of taking multiple products from design to launch, launching online platforms in across diverse global markets, and marketing and selling online platforms to corporate businesses and end users
Proven experience of managing a remote team of marketing and sales reports and working at Director-level in a rapid growth, technology disruptive business
Personal Sales and Business Development success
Comfortable with high tempo start up culture
Your Extra Bonuses (Nice to Haves)
Experiences in SEO / SEM / SMO principle, promoting brand awareness through event sponsorship, social media campaigns and influencer outreach, and gamification techniques for viral user growth
Previous experience in the social networking space
Familiarity with job boards and other recruitment channels (particularly social recruitment)
Extensive network of contacts and connections in the technology start up community
