Xometry is seeking a visionary and results-oriented leader to join our team as the Director of Product, Buyer Experience & Storefront. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in elevating the user experience and optimizing the buyer journey on Xometry’s marketplace. You will lead product strategy and execution for key aspects of the storefront and buyer interactions, driving initiatives that enhance engagement and conversion. As the Director of Product, Buyer Experience & Storefront, you will shape and execute the product vision for a seamless, intuitive, and efficient buyer experience. You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate closely with design and engineering to optimize buyer interactions from discovery through checkout, ensuring each stage delivers maximum value. This role requires a blend of product expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of buyer needs and marketplace dynamics. You will contribute to the development of product strategies, foster cross-functional collaboration, and mentor your team to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with Xometry’s mission and growth objectives. Responsibilities include developing storefront product vision and strategy, leading and inspiring product teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration, utilizing data-driven decision making, championing the customer-centric focus, providing leadership and communication, driving marketplace optimization, and mentoring and developing your team. Outcomes you will influence include driving growth and category adoption, enhancing buyer acquisition and pre-purchase engagement, optimizing purchase flow and conversion, and supporting strategic integrations. Qualifications include at least 8+ years of experience in product management, a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, solid understanding of digital marketplaces, strong data and analytics skills, experience working across functional areas, excellent communication skills, strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, and proven ability to drive change in a fast-paced organization.
