Overview A premier healthcare organization is seeking a forward-thinking Director of Practice Operations to lead strategic initiatives and optimize workflows across its medical practices. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Physician Practice Operations, this role is pivotal in shaping a culture of excellence, enhancing patient experience, and fostering employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leaders to implement standardized practices that elevate operational performance and service quality Drive process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and support staff in working at the top of their scope Identify and analyze workflow variations; lead planning and execution of process improvements Champion change management initiatives with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders Cultivate a culture centered on patient satisfaction and staff empowerment Mentor and coach team members to uphold a patient-first mindset throughout care delivery
Qualifications
Proven experience at the strategic level within a complex healthcare environment Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated success leading multifaceted initiatives Skilled in Lean or similar process improvement methodologies Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication abilities Proficiency with Epic EMR systems required
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Minimum 5 years clinical or business management experience in an ambulatory setting Minimum 4 years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare operations
