Summary GainwellRx is our solution and business platform to support states and Medicaid members across the country for prescription drug related business processes and member experiences. The Director/Sr. Director Pharmacy Strategy, Market Insights & Sales Support will serve a key role within the pharmacy business and will interface with all leaders of the executive leadership team, State Sector Leaders, Account General Managers, and with state pharmacy leaders. The role directly supports Gainwell’s pharmacy growth strategies, business development, solution offerings, internal training, and external messaging. Your role in our mission Aligns with State Sector Leads and Account General Managers on client needs and VOC, partnering with Product and pharmacy leadership team.
Assesses market trends, customer segments, and drives internal and external value proposition and message for GainwellRx.
Partners with VP of Growth, State Sector Leaders, and Account General Managers for analysis of bid pipeline and development of state strategies.
Partners with Product team and Pharmacy Center of Excellence leaders in developing and delivering pharmacy market and solution training to state account teams.
Aligns with Product team and Growth team for field campaigns, training, webinars, and client presentations.
Aligns proposal requirements to business execution plans.
Drives new solution ideas, partners with states on new concepts, and works with product & engineering teams to deliver models to support them.
Collaborates with Marketing on GainwellRx overall market message, media strategy, and GTM strategy.
Drives creation of strategy presentations and client facing materials, partnering with marketing.
Supports state needs through RFP and bid proposals in support of the Pharmacy Center of Excellence organization.
Creates and delivers pharmacy business updates to organization via all forms of communication.
Connects solutions and value across Gainwell platforms.
Partners with Pharmacy executive team to drive business strategy and business development through market and competitive insights and analysis.
Connect market insights into growth strategies and solution pipeline strategies.
Drives key initiatives in support of strategy, pharmacy growth, and business development.
Supports executive team in development of growth plans and market strategies.
Drives market analysis in support of business development projects and senior leadership key initiatives.
Leads industry relations and partnerships in support of GainwellRx.
Serves as an industry expert on GainwellRx, interfacing with external clients, vendors, and business partners.
Collaborates across account teams, sales teams, product teams, and other shared service functions. What we’re looking for Advanced degree or significant related experience.
10+ years of pharmacy related experience.
Key skillsets tied to strategic planning, communication, and market analysis.
Advanced PowerPoint skills.
Proven ability to differentiate healthcare solutions, brands, and capabilities.
Experience interacting with clients in the healthcare industry.
Track record of cross-functional leadership of teams and projects spanning people, process, and technology.
Excellent communications skills, with ability to communicate externally and with senior executives.
Innovative forward thinker with excellent leadership skills. What you should expect in this role This position is 100% remote, with approximately 20% travel to support key client meetings. The pay range for this position is $137,100.00 - $195,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
