Become the Pharmacy Director You Aspire to Be Communicate the organization’s mission to pharmacy staff, motivating them to enhance their skills while ensuring accountability for performance. Oversee pharmacy operations including scheduling and implementing process improvements to enhance performance. Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care. Demonstrate knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices, including antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety. Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and ensure compliance with regulations. Keep current with new medications and collaborate on departmental budget management. Lead various hospital committees such as Quality Assurance and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
