Job Summary The Department of Emergency Medicine at Jersey City Medical Center, sees over 67,000 visits each year. Jersey City Medical Center's Emergency Departments are known for high-quality provider care, unparalleled nursing care (Jersey City Medical Center ED nurses just received the prestigious Magnet Recognition -the highest recognition of nursing excellence) and for being both Geriatric and Pediatric-friendly. The Jersey City Hospital Campus features a specialized Pediatric Emergency Department, which is staffed by highly-trained pediatric emergency physicians and specialized pediatric ED nurses. As the regional Level II Trauma Center, Jersey City Medical Center is known for providing state-of-the-art care to the communities it serves both in New Jersey and in New York. For less emergent ailments such as sore throats, sprains and scrapes we provide a Fast Track section of the Emergency Department from 10 AM to 10 PM in order to expedite your care.
