The ISV Partners team is part of the Product organization, reporting into the Chief Product Officer, and is responsible for building and managing our technology and Data partner ecosystem. The work we do seamlessly extends our product capabilities through partner integrations so our customers can focus on outcomes versus knitting systems together. As a Data Intelligence Platform, a thriving partner ecosystem is foundational to Databricks' growth strategy. We are considered an extension of the product team and seen by our leadership as core to the company’s product and business strategies.
We are hiring a director who will help manage and scale a high-performing Solutions Architect team while supporting a growing ecosystem of several thousand partners. The team collaborates closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Partner Management to align with Databricks’ product and business goals. You will be reporting to the VP of ISV Partners. This role is pivotal in scaling our partner ecosystem, driving technical innovation, and delivering transformational outcomes in the Data and AI space.
The Impact You Will Have: Build and Lead the Team: Hire, train, and develop top Solutions Architects from diverse backgrounds. Manage senior-level SAs, fostering leadership development and mentoring programs.
Drive Partner Innovation: Support partners in adopting Databricks’ technology and aligning with product and business line priorities. Engage with partners in architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud deployments.
Strategic Execution: Participate in the planning and executing of partner programs and investments. Champion partner needs with senior Databricks leadership to drive joint initiatives.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Define and implement scalable processes, reporting mechanisms, and business inspection cadences to deliver high value to partners and measurable results for the business.
Collaborate Across the organization: Work with peers in Product, Engineering, and Partner Management to align strategies and elevate partner outcomes. What We Look For: Leadership: 10+ years managing teams with a proven ability to hire, lead, and manage high-performing technical teams, including senior-level architects.
Technical Depth and Expertise: Strong knowledge of Data & AI technologies, cloud ecosystems, and scalable architectures. Able to be hands-on-keyboard.
Strategic Thinking: Experience in developing and executing plans for partner ecosystems, driving innovation and adoption.
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in implementing processes and delivering measurable business impact.
Partnership Experience: 7-10 years of experience working with Providers; Proven ability to build and manage partnerships throughout their lifecycle, from negotiating terms to onboarding and launching.
Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively across teams and navigate a high-pace, feedback-driven environment. Pay Range Transparency

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
