Overview:
We're partnered with a growing IT staffing firm looking for a Director of Operations to lead and expand their Tampa market. This is a dual-role: you'll be in the field actively building and closing new business, while also growing and developing a high-performing sales and recruiting team.
This is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who thrives on creating new logos, expanding key accounts, and leading by example-not from behind a desk.
What You'll Do:
- Own and drive revenue generation in the Tampa market
- Actively hunt and close new logos across IT staffing verticals
- Expand and spiderweb existing accounts to maximize wallet share
- Recruit, hire, and develop sales and delivery team members
- Set performance expectations and lead from the front with your own production
- Partner with executive leadership to shape market strategy and delivery execution
- Track key KPIs, pipeline, and team performance
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in IT staffing sales, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role
- Proven track record of new business development and account expansion
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and scaling sales teams
- Strong understanding of the Tampa IT talent market
- Leadership style centered on ownership, accountability, and driving results through action
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
- Leadership bonuses and equity potential for the right candidate
- Path to a regional leadership or VP role as the office scales
