Your Role: Director of Operations
As a strategic leader, you’ll oversee multiple childcare centers and guide a team of Area Directors and Center Directors in our growing western region, ensuring operational excellence across your expanding territory. You’ll be the driving force behind quality education and care, regulatory compliance, and team development—ensuring every center meets the high standards families appreciate that the center their child attends is a caring and nurturing place where their child is intellectually and emotionally stimulated by a dedicated team of early childhood educators who are also genuinely amazing human beings. They trust us to care for their child, keeping them safe, secure, happy, treasured and inspired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Area Directors managing 8–12 centers each in delivering and living our values: Care, Quality, Service, Value
- Ensure full compliance with state, safety, fire, and educational regulations while delivering fun and quality educational outcomes
- Partner with the COO and CFO to manage budgets, payroll, and meet enrollment targets
- Optimize center occupancy through strategic enrollment planning and activities so that we can offer exceptional experiences to more families
- Grow brand recognition and value while opening new locations and integrating acquisitions into the BBNA network of schools
- Provide inspiring mentorship, quality training, and supportive resources to ensure consistent policy implementation in an enjoyable work environment
- This role requires regular travel, often including overnight stays

What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Business, or related field
- 3+ years of multi-unit management experience. ECE experience preferred
- Strong leadership, marketing, and team-building skills. Experience successfully opening new schools and integrating acquisitions a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of operational efficiency and industry regulations
- Ability to meet state requirements for childcare employment
