The Operations Director will lead and oversee all operational activities for our cosmetics company, ensuring efficient production, supply chain management, and distribution of our product lines. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize processes while maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and profitability goals Oversee daily manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and logistics Establish production schedules and quality control procedures that meet regulatory requirements Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Sales departments to align operations with product launches and market demands Manage inventory levels, forecasting, and procurement to optimize stock levels while minimizing costs Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control protocols Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure operational effectiveness Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in cosmetics or consumer goods Proven track record of improving operational processes and driving efficiencies Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software Experience with BOM development Experience with Sage and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
