SUMMARY OVERVEW OF ***** Primary responsibilities for the Director of Operations for Hello! Destination Management is to help design and then lead program operations (possibly in other destinations), attract, retain, and teach future Account Managers in the best practices of Hello! Destination Management program operations. To succeed you must be an expert in services such as group transportation, theme décor and entertainment, tours, activities, off-site events, and other traditional destination management services. You must also be able to manage people by providing daily guidance on maximizing their effectiveness and serving as a mentor to aid their development. The everyday tasks vary but include leading the Operations team, proposal creation including pricing and costing (and/or providing detailed direction to help support staff when they create the proposal) site inspections, vendor negotiation, identifying and scheduling of quality part time field staff, leading program operations, and the creation of the final invoice to the client. SKILLS ***** Strong Organization, Time Management, Strong Communication, Excel and Word, One-on-one personal interaction, and outgoing and positive attitude.
