Operations Director

Directs the organization's operations function and develops operational programs, policies, and processes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversees recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.
  • Develops strategies meant to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to policies or procedures.
  • Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
  • Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years in a leadership position

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations:

  • Industry-recognized professional certifications

  • Ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem/Situation Analysis, statistical knowledge, and conceptual thinking skills.
