The Role
Were seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale our fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring that thousands of medical devices are reliably processed, shipped, returned, and redeployed every monthon time and on budget.
If you have experience running complex warehouse operations, building systems that scale, and managing a high-SKU-count supply chain, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of warehouse and fulfillment operations, including inbound, outbound, returns, QA, and inventory control
Manage and optimize supply chain processes, including forecasting, procurement, and vendor relationships
Drive the implementation and refinement of ERP tools (Odoo preferred) to track inventory, logistics, and order flow
Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to ensure performance, SLA compliance, and cost-efficiency
Own the task and workflow management system (Asana or equivalent) across operations team members
Develop and document SOPs for core operational processes including receiving, kitting, shipping, and device refurbishment
Collaborate with customer success, finance, and product teams to align ops with company-wide initiatives
Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and/or outsourced partners as needed
Ensure regulatory compliance for medical device handling, labeling, and shipping
Requirements
8+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 4 years overseeing a fulfillment warehouse
Demonstrated success managing a complex SKU environment, ideally with a mix of serialized and consumable inventory
Ability to operate in a growth stage (100%+/year growth) tech startup environment requiring flexibility, getting your hands dirty, and filling in gaps as they arise.
Deep understanding of supply chain logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory optimization
Hands-on experience with an ERP system; Odoo experience is a strong plus
Proficient in Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or another structured task/project management platform
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment
Experience in healthcare, medtech, or regulated hardware a strong plus
Nice to Have
Experience implementing or customizing Odoo modules
Background in a hardware-enabled SaaS, logistics startup, or medical device company
Exposure to device tracking, RMA workflows, or FDA-compliant fulfillment
