We offer standard benefits package to full time employees. Position Description: The director of dietary services will be responsible for oversight of the dietary program at Inner Haven Wellness. This includes but not limited to developing budgeting, staffing, and orientation to the program for dietitians, diet techs, and chefs. The director of dietary services ensures that dietary programing including meal supervision follows best practices and documentation accurately reflects client services Position Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Conducting initial dietary assessments and developing individualized meal plans based on collected data (as needed).
Maintains onsite meal supply (as needed).
Ensures staff are maintaining food safety protocols.
Maintains and audits for clinically accurate, timely, and complete charting in electronic medical record.
Provides weekly supervision for dietary staff.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Administrative Duties Scheduling the dietary team to ensure that individual and group sessions are completed.
Oversees food ordering and catering schedule in line with program budget.
Creates protocols to increase efficiencies in the dietary program around staff orientation and the delivery of care.
Completes 90 day and annual evaluations of dietary staff.
Plan, Organize, coordinate, and delegate tasks related to the organization’s nutritional functions.
Assist and work with administration to ensure compliance of all requirements and standards set by the WI depart of Health Services in order to maintain Wisconsin state licensure and joint Commission Accreditation.
Collaborates with Director of Operations in recruitment and hiring of staff.
Align organizational resources with crafted strategic vision.
Represent the program to agencies, organizations, and the public.
Responsible for overall leadership of nutritional staff in the development and implementation of short- and long-range plans for the IOP and PHP tracks.
Represent the organization: serve as its public face as needed in outreach activities.
Maintains a climate that attracts, keeps, and motivates a diverse staff of top-quality people.
Addresses and manages any client or insurance complaints or grievances.
Collaborates with Director of Operations for any utilization review, clinical decision-making and staff performance issues.
Qualifications and Experience: An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Dietetics
Registered Dietitian Required
Independently Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Wisconsin
3 or more years industry specific experience in Outpatient (OP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Treatment (PHP), or Residential (RTC) programs for mental health care.
Knowledge of behavioral health treatment for eating disorders
Demonstrate ability to clinical conceptualize a client’s needs as it pertains to dietary care.
Experience in the use of electronic health records.
Highly skilled in communicating ideas and instructions, verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely.

Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics
Must be detail oriented.
Monitor snack/food inventory as needed.
Monitor & keep logs of refrigerator and freezers temperatures to ensure they are within food safety regulations.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as be flexible and dependable.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Principles and processes for providing client services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction.
Exceptional customer/client service with the ability to resolve service issues.
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Ability to handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
