Through a strategic alliance with Compass Surgical Partners announced in May 2023, BSMH is expanding its ambulatory surgery center (ASC) footprint, with plans for more than 30 new centers over 2023 and beyond. Role Summary: The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all nursing services and clinical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care. This full-time, exempt leadership role supervises a dynamic clinical team and manages patient care for outpatient surgeries, including GI and ophthalmologyprocedures across 2 operating rooms, and 4 procedure rooms. Hours: Full-time, MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:00 PM (hours may vary based on center needs). What Youll do: Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams. Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control. Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply management. Collaborate with physicians and administration to support center goals. Serve as administrative leader in the Administrators absence. What Youll bring: Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery.
