The Springs of Arkansas is seeking a committed and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage all nursing operations to ensure the highest quality of resident care.
Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
Develop and enforce clinical protocols, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor nursing outcomes and performance, and lead efforts to enhance care delivery.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams for resident care planning.
Maintain accurate documentation and resident records, audits, and reporting systems.
Oversee infection control, risk management, and clinical safety programs.
Manage department budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.
Serve as a key communicator with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
Participate in the on-call rotation to support clinical oversight beyond standard hours.
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing; BSN preferred .
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience , with at least 2 years in a leadership role in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical operations, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with electronic health records, especially PointClickCare (PCC) .
