Job Type : Full Time Location : Tucson, Texas Pay : Great Pay Job Description What you will be doing: Provide leadership and support for all nursing and designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization. Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level. Assume 24/7 responsibility for the assigned areas of the Director. Support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Oversee overall operations of the Emergency Department (ED) with approximately 60 employees. Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing. Experience you will need: Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN. Preferred: MSN or master's in a health care related field. Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position. Required: Currently licensed in the state of residence/practice, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy; CPR.
