The Opportunity
We’re opening a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the charge.
This is an opportunity to help build a surgical center from the ground up — shaping workflows, developing your team, and setting the standard for excellent, compliant, patient-centered care.
You’ll begin your journey by training in our Interventional Pain Clinic to understand our model and mission, then transition into full ASC leadership once the center opens later this year.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership & Culture
- Lead clinical operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the ASC.
- Build and support a high-performing team of clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on safety, compassion, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to CMS, Joint Commission, and all regulatory standards.
- Direct Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts.
- Oversee infection control, radiation safety, and life safety protocols.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, supply chain, and equipment needs.
- Monitor and improve physician, staff, and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives based on feedback and data.
- Drive onboarding, licensing, and continuing education for staff.
- Deliver regular in-service training on safety, compliance, and ASC best practices.
- Have prior leadership experience in an ASC or surgical care setting
- Enjoy developing people, systems, and processes from scratch
- Stay calm under pressure and bring a steady hand to change
- Are deeply committed to safe, ethical, patient-first care
- Want your work to directly impact people’s quality of life
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent clinical experience
- ACLS and BLS certification (required)
- ASC leadership or healthcare management experience (strongly preferred)
- Certification in Infection Prevention (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
- Able to lift/push up to 25 lbs, and assist with patient/equipment movement as needed
