General Purpose of Job: The Director oversees a specific area of service and supports the direct operation of Driscoll Children's Hospital vision of excellent and integrated patient care delivery; designs processes for service delivery; engenders and participates in collaborative decision-making; ensures compliance with established standards; and contributes to creating an environment that fosters patient advocacy, competence, and accountability for patient outcomes at the unit level.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s preferred. Current license State of Texas (if appropriate) 5 years related experience in area of expertise preferred. Demonstrates strong leadership skills in hospital related activities.
