This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who will execute our strategic plan, drive community and educational initiatives, and champion fundraising efforts to expand our impact. As the primary spokesperson for the organization, you will establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that the WASP story continues to resonate with current and future generations. We are looking for a candidate with a genuine passion for aviation, military history, and women's leadership, alongside a deep appreciation for the WASP legacy. Key Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in museum management, nonprofit organizations, or related fields. Strong background in educational programming and community engagement. Proven ability in fundraising and donor cultivation. Exceptional communication skills, budget management, and staff leadership experience. Willingness to travel extensively (less than 10% travel required). An entrepreneurial mindset and familiarity with the regional aviation community are strongly preferred.
