Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor Clinical Directors within your assigned market, ensuring they meet clinical outcomes and operational goals.
Drive the performance of clinical operations, working to exceed market earning targets.
Support the development and growth of PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through mentoring and leadership development initiatives.
Foster a collaborative and engaging physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core values and service standards.
Participate in the recruitment and hiring processes of new clinical team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with payers, specialists, and the community to enhance service delivery.
Monitor market culture and respond promptly to workplace concerns.
Deliver excellent clinical outcomes while providing direct patient care as a Primary Care Physician (20% of your time).
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent clinical skills with a strong focus on patient outcomes.
Experience in a managed care delivery system and familiarity with quality improvement processes.
Proven ability to manage complex chronic disease care and population risk management.
Proficient in relationship-building and conflict resolution.
Comfortable working with electronic medical records and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
MD or DO in a relevant specialty required (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics).
Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
Previous experience as a Medical Director is strongly preferred, especially within a Medicare or Medicaid population.
Current and valid medical license in your state of employment.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving clinical excellence.
Compensation:
Salary range: $231,876 - $331,251
