We publish award-winning editorial content, premier events, and impactful business-building opportunities in thefacilities management, commercial cleaning, rail, and meetings industries. We are seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Director of Media Operations. A steadfast leader that is both knowledgeable about digital development, products and innovations and a visionary with the B2B Operations. This role will be responsible for the adoption of next generation solutions and applications working cross matrix with senior department leaders.This is a full-time, hybrid position in Milwaukee, WI that reports directly to the CEO.Key Responsibilities:Department LeadershipLead and mentor a cross-functional team of 4 managers and 13 team members across digital production, print production, client services, and multimedia.Support employee development through regular coaching, training, and goal-setting.Evaluate team structure and processes to improve efficiency and output quality.Digital & Print Media ExecutionOversee day-to-day workflows and deadlines for 4 markets consisting of 7 magazines, e-newsletters, websites, webcasts, digital campaigns, and client deliverables.Work with markets to drive revenue and customer ROI for digital productsDevelop digital products, track KPIs, reinvent existing for next generation solutionsUse AI adoption to create department efficienciesAssist in pricing determination, cost and competitive analysisEnsure best practices in quality control, legal compliance, and brand consistency.Oversee asset delivery, ad trafficking, and coordination with clients and vendors.Workflow, Tools & SystemsArchitect, integrate, and maintain platforms such as CMS, ad management, project management, and reporting systems.Streamline workflows using automation and AI-powered tools.Partner with IT and corporate teams to oversee usage and adoption of crm/cdpCross-Functional SupportServe as the operational engine for media kits, rate cards, event assets, and marketing campaigns.Collaborate with marketing, content, and events teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution.Support departments with advancements and technological advancementsVendor & Budget ManagementOversee vendor relationships for production, print, and digital tools.Manage departmental budgets, negotiate service contracts, and assess ROI of tools and platforms.Education/guidance related to print vendors, CMS, Project Managment, Ad Management/Delivery, Metrics/Reporting, Digital EngagementQualifications:7+ years in media production or operations leadership, ideally within a B2B media or publishing environment.Proven experience managing cross-functional creative and production teams.Strong project management and systems implementation skills.Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Omeda, AdOrbit, CMS platforms, and workflow/project management tools.Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.Compensation:$120,000 to $160,000 = total compensation package (base salary and bonus options) based on experience and qualifications.Trade Press Media Group Benefits:401(k) with company matchCompany-funded health insurancePaid Time Off including 11 paid holidaysCasual hybrid work environmentFlexible scheduleWellness/fitness programCompany-funded life insuranceVision & dental insuranceCompany-funded short and long-term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountMileage reimbursementFree coffeeFree parkingFree access to on-site fitness centerPaid volunteer time offCompensation details: 120000-160000 Yearly SalaryPI172abb49ab0f-29952-38656825
