Director of Marketing

Join the Leader Driving the Future of Heavy-Duty Freight Electrification

Orange EV is leading the zero-emission revolution in heavy-duty yard trucks — delivering cleaner, safer, more cost-effective solutions that make a difference for the planet, people, and the bottom line. As a fast-growing, mission-driven company, we are seeking a visionary Marketing Director to elevate our brand, fuel demand, and help us accelerate the transition to a future that’s not just sustainable, but operationally and financially superior for our customers.

Position Summary

The Marketing Director will be the strategic architect and driving force behind Orange EV’s marketing function — shaping how we present ourselves to the world and how we generate and convert demand.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a dynamic, data-driven marketer who thrives on building high-impact strategies, executing breakthrough campaigns, and scaling lead generation in a rapidly growing B2B environment.

You’ll lead a talented internal marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, external Agency partners, and Executive Leadership to transform Orange EV’s marketing into a growth engine — spanning brand strategy, PR, digital campaigns, email marketing, account-based outreach, and marketing automation.

Position Responsibilities

· Brand & Positioning

  • Own Orange EV’s brand strategy, messaging, and voice across all channels to drive awareness, differentiation, and category leadership.
  • Lead public relations, media engagement, and thought leadership efforts to strengthen visibility and credibility with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Design and execute multi-channel lead generation programs — including email marketing, account-based campaigns, outbound initiatives, and digital advertising — to fuel the sales pipeline.
  • Build and optimize data-driven outreach by leveraging tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Develop robust nurture and engagement programs that convert prospects into qualified opportunities and accelerate deal velocity.

Marketing Automation & Analytics

  • Lead the transition to Salesforce CRM and its marketing automation platforms, building scalable workflows and seamless marketing-to-sales integration.
  • Use analytics, attribution, and A/B testing to measure campaign performance, track ROI, and optimize marketing spend.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner closely with Sales to align go-to-market strategies, refine lead scoring, and improve funnel conversion rates.
  • Manage and mentor a growing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Present marketing insights, performance results, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For (Position Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success driving measurable growth through demand generation, marketing automation, and lead nurturing.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM and marketing tech stacks — including Salesforce, Pardot (Account Engagement), Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in email marketing strategy, campaign design, and performance optimization.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills — from messaging and creative direction to analytics and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, transportation, logistics, or sustainability-related industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • May require duties performed in a warehouse or production setting, which may involve exposure to loud noises.
  • Work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time

Why Orange EV

  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing companies in commercial electrification.
  • Lead marketing for a proven category leader with industry-leading technology and impact.
  • Shape a brand that’s redefining the future of heavy-duty transportation — and build the team and strategy that drives that future forward.

Orange EV is an Equal Opportunity Employers and seek diversity in candidates for employment.
