Director of Marketing & Sales Operations
The Director of Marketing & Sales Operations is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives and sales operations to achieve growth, profitability, and market leadership. This role oversees marketing strategy and planning, content creation and branding, sales enablement, and organizational communication to ensure alignment with business objectives and a consistent, compelling brand presence. The Director works cross-functionally across departments to deliver data-driven insights, innovative programs, and engaging collateral that support both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
Lead the development of a National Drop-Ship program, COPD Disease State Management (DSM) program, and lead generation campaigns.
Spend time in the field (~3 days/month) with the sales team and key customers to deepen understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and contracting teams to ensure marketing and sales efforts align with compliance, reimbursement, and operational requirements.
Content Creation & Branding Coordinate and lead the creation of marketing materials, digital campaigns, educational content, print ads, and video assets for healthcare professionals and patients.
Advance the company website by adding patient training materials and engaging new content for payor partners.
Develop sales aids, flyers, brochures, and other branded collateral using Canva brand kit and PowerPoint; maintain proficiency in Canva to create high-quality, on-brand materials efficiently.
Create and maintain branded content for weekly LinkedIn posts to ensure consistent visibility and top-of-mind presence.
Partner with clinical & sales teams to identify their needs and develop effective, engaging collateral to support their goals.
Sales Operations & Enablement Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all marketing initiatives and sales operations to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability across the organization.
Oversee the Sales Operations Manager, ensuring delivery of robust reporting, analytics, contract analysis, and sales enablement to support the field team and executives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to align campaigns, data systems, performance metrics, and territory strategies with business objectives.
Foster a data-driven, customer-focused culture by streamlining processes, enhancing tools, and delivering actionable insights that improve revenue performance and market position.
Design and implement training programs for the sales team on DMEPOS products, payer requirements, and value-based selling.
Communication & Brand Representation Manage the company's online reputation, ensuring positive and consistent messaging across digital platforms, social media, and review sites.
Develop and deliver executive-level communications, including PowerPoint presentations, board updates, and strategic messaging for senior stakeholders.
Keep internal teams informed and engaged by delivering regular internal communications, updates, and insights that foster alignment and transparency.
Serve as the primary spokesperson for marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the company's brand and strategic goals.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Psychology, Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, Public Affairs or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in strategic marketing, brand management, marketing communications, Sales enablement, or other similar experience.
Strong preference for candidates who have experience within the healthcare or durable medical equipment (DME) industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) Google, and experience using CANVA Pro (Brand Kit tool). CANVA is the preferred creative platform at Stance Health Solutions.
Strong communication skills in English, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar both written and verbal. Working knowledge of Associated Press Stylebook.
Experience working with groups and fostering effective team interaction to ensure teamwork is conducted smoothly.
Experience providing a high level of customer service by effectively dealing with the public, vendors, contractors, and employees.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Salary Description
150K to 175k DOE Plus Bonus
