Summary

The Director of Marketing Operations position will be responsible for delivering scaled marketing solutions across all marketing departments including Web, CRM, Operations, Planning, Digital Marketing, Mobile Applications, and Memberships. Additionally, they are responsible for the implementation and optimization of marketing processes, as well as financial planning and coordination of the marketing calendar for HomeTown Services' family of brands and locations in the US. This role will support the Chief Marketing Officer, and other senior leaders, to develop and execute marketing strategy and lead generating initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and foster trusted partnerships with senior leaders to drive the alignment and prioritization of brand direction and marketing strategies.
  • Acts as the direct point of contact for all web, CRM, campaign production and tracking, marketing initiatives, and serves as a key liaison between HomeTown business leaders and corporate marketing.
  • Oversee key website and mobile functions, including site navigation, Application Programming Interface (API), and hosting.
  • Design best-in-class user experiences that adapt based on traffic source and customer intent with relevant messaging for every visitor pathway.
  • Drive measurable improvements in conversion rate, average order value, customer lifetime value, and overall revenue growth.
  • Leverage advanced analytics including heatmapping, session recordings, and customer feedback to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Own and manage relationships with marketing technology vendors, ensuring tools are integrated effectively and meet business requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Brings 7+ years of team leadership experience across digital product, product design, and development functions
  • Possesses deep knowledge of WordPress, custom Content Management Systems (CMS), and analytics/CRO tools with hands-on implementation experience.
  • Proven experience in building, optimizing and managing multiple websites for multiple locations and brands, preferably in a similar role or industry. This includes managing multiple locations with varying budgets and marketing plans.
  • Proven experience managing CRM systems, leveraging customer data for advanced analytics and tracking campaign performance for multiple locations.
  • Understands direct-to-consumer growth strategies and customer lifecycle optimization.
  • Previous managerial experience and a servant approach to leadership is also critical for success in this role.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels and best practices.
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%) by auto and plane with overnight stays.
