Job Details
We’re seeking a Director of Maintenance & Engineering to lead all aspects of maintenance strategy, facility operations, fleet reliability, and vendor/labor oversight at a high-throughput, 24/7 logistics terminal. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role with strategic autonomy and strong executive support.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, engineering preferred
Professional Certification in Engineering preferred
Further training in maintenance/engineering/asset management would be well regarded.
Preferred minimum 5 years of supervision
Preferred minimum 2 years technical/engineering experience with preferably automated container handling equipment – automated stacking cranes and auto straddle carriers, or other comparable equipment and technology
Labor relations experience
Experience with safety and environmental compliance programs
Purchasing, inventory control, and cost accounting experience
Experience within 24/7 operational environments preferred.
