$140k – $150k

Position Description:

The company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Logistics (Bilingual) to oversee end-to-end logistics and warehousing functions across multiple production and storage facilities. The Director of Logistics (Bilingual) will be bilingual in Spanish and will be responsible for optimizing transportation, inventory flow, and distribution strategies while supporting enterprise-wide systems implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Director of Logistics (Bilingual):

Lead and manage logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, across multiple manufacturing and storage sites.

Define and track operational KPIs to ensure performance targets are met across all logistics functions.

Supervise internal warehousing teams, ensuring adequate staffing and training to meet operational demands.

Coordinate import logistics, including customs and storage, to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and scalable warehousing solutions.

Design and implement a unified distribution strategy that aligns with the needs of multiple business units and international sourcing.

Oversee company-owned fleet operations, including driver management and asset utilization.

Contribute to the development of interim planning tools and inventory systems ahead of a full ERP deployment.

Serve as a core contributor to the ERP selection and rollout process.

Support capacity planning and production scheduling through data-driven analysis.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, engaging cross-functional teams in identifying and executing process enhancements.

Partner with commercial and operations teams to proactively address service-level challenges and customer needs.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals. Required Experience/Skills for the Director of Logistics (Bilingual):

Ability to travel in the tri state area as needed.

Bilingual in Spanish.

Experience managing multiple sites. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with a track record of solving complex operational challenges.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.

Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable results. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Director of Logistics (Bilingual):

Prior ERP implementation experience is a plus.
