Position Summary

The Director of Investments is a mission-critical leader responsible for shaping our firm’s investment philosophy, driving portfolio excellence, and ensuring clients receive clear, actionable, and within reasonable accuracy guidance in an uncertain world. Key Responsibilities

Investment Leadership & Strategy

• Lead a disciplined due diligence process that identifies high-conviction opportunities.
• Design and execute portfolio allocation strategies that consistently align with client goals and risk profiles.
• Translate market insights into clear, client-ready strategies and recommendations.

Team Development & Culture

• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performance analyst team with a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Set and enforce performance standards that minimize reporting errors ensuring the team consistently delivers accurate and reliable client reporting.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate portfolio strategies and performance with clarity, transparency, and credibility.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners, sponsors, and industry peers to enhance the firm’s investment pipeline.

Operational & Reporting Excellence

• Architect and oversee a best-in-class reporting framework with robust controls, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Direct and refine the use of Addepar and related systems to support portfolio analysis and client reporting.
• Oversee the firm’s comprehensive fund and sponsor database, ensuring it remains a high-value resource for investment decision-making.
• Ensure investment activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and other relevant regulatory requirements ensuring internal policies and investment practices remain up to date.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CFA designation strongly preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in investment management, wealth management, or financial services.
• Proven track record in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment due diligence.
• Proficiency with Addepar and portfolio management/reporting systems.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated success supervising, developing, and scaling analyst teams.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis.
