Position Summary:
To oversee the audit of all departments and subsidiaries of the Bank and to oversee the personnel involved in the audit.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field required, Certification(s) preferred (CPA, CBA, CIA, CISA, CMA, CFE, CRCM, etc.) or willingness to pursue such designations.
Minimum of five to seven years of progressive auditing experience required; exposure to financial services industry preferred, with one to two years of supervisory/management experience.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
An understanding of human relations and the ability to maintain satisfactory relationships with associates and departments being audited.
Strong analytical skills to analyze financial and procedural data and to recognize potential internal control weaknesses in existing systems.
Demonstrated organization skills.
Proficiency in application of contemporary internal auditing theory, auditing standards, procedures and techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
