The Director of Inside Sales is a highly accountable, results-driven leader responsible for producing consistent, high-converting appointment opportunities that fuel the growth of both EmpowerHome Teams and EmpowerHome Mortgage . This individual leads with a servant heart , yet prioritizes measurable outcomes, performance accountability, and disciplined system execution .
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer , this full-time, in-person role plays a mission-critical part in ensuring the Inside Sales Department consistently delivers the lead-to-appointment volume necessary to serve more families and empower agents and loan officers to perform at their highest level.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and leadership, with demonstrated success in high-volume, fast-paced call center environments. They must align strongly with EmpowerHome’s growth-focused, results-driven culture, bringing a competitive spirit, high energy, and unwavering accountability. This individual thrives on performance metrics, naturally tracks progress, and consistently pushes for excellence. They bring proactive intensity and strong leadership presence—both during core business hours and, when needed, on evenings or weekends to ensure team success.
This is a full-time, in-office position requiring hands-on leadership and daily engagement with the Inside Sales team.
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly
Responsibilities: Lead With Urgency and Impact
Establish and reinforce a high-performance culture across the Inside Sales Department through hands-on, daily leadership .
Own and lead morning RevUps , track lead-to-appointment metrics from the previous day, and deliver real-time coaching throughout the day.
Be present and available to observe, challenge, and elevate performance in the moment .
Own Conversion Outcomes
Fully own ISA performance in progressing leads to appointments, ensuring a high percentage of set appointments actually happen .
Utilize deep working knowledge of the EmpowerHome System and THE Script to coach ISAs in objection handling, urgency setting, and emotional connection .
Analyze conversion gaps and lead sentiment to implement interventions that move the needle on key outcomes.
Coach Relentlessly
Coach in real-time by listening to live calls, engaging ISAs during active dialing blocks, and providing targeted, behavior-specific feedback that improves tonality, messaging, and objection handling.
Onboard new ISAs with a structured success plan and create ongoing coaching cadences tailored to individual performance tiers.
Pipeline Accountability
Drive a “No Lead Left Behind” culture by ensuring ISAs maintain timely, consistent outreach and always schedule next steps.
Enforce standards for lead-to-appointment follow-up and apply rigorous attention to appointments set vs. appointments that happen .
Use Salesforce reporting to spot pipeline stalls, inactivity, or low show rates, and coach accordingly.
Performance Management & Accountability
Lead with a performance-first mindset using EmpowerHome’s Weekly Results Review (WRR) methodology.
Ensure ISAs review actual results from the previous week—including leads worked, appointments booked, show rates, contact rate, and talk time—using CRM dashboards and personal performance reports.
Enforce accountability through transparent performance dashboards and structured interventions using the EmpowerHome Growth Commitment Plan when needed.
Strategic Development & Innovation
Work cross-functionally with Sales Leadership and Growth Ops to enhance ISA systems, scripting, and tools.
Build and refine call playbooks, objection libraries, coaching templates, and KPI dashboards .
Stay on the leading edge of real estate trends , lead nurturing best practices, and conversion innovation to differentiate EmpowerHome’s client experience .
Qualifications: Job Qualifications – Requirements & Competencies
Full-time, in-person leadership role (remote work not considered).
Prior leadership experience required, with a track record of leading 15+ team members.
Proven success in sales environments and call center settings (call center leadership preferred, but not required).
Strong cultural alignment with the EmpowerHome Executive Team —growth-minded, results-oriented, direct, and care-driven.
Obsession with metrics and accountability —must love keeping score.
Clear pattern of being results-oriented and willing to do whatever it takes to win.
Excellent at multitasking , maintaining focus and intensity in high-volume, fast-moving environments.
Capable of leading with both tough love and genuine support , creating performance and loyalty simultaneously.
Strong presence —able to coach, inspect, and intervene in the moment during live dialing blocks.
Flexible schedule with willingness to lead and inspect during off-hours (e.g., evenings, weekends) to model consistency and drive accountability.
Skilled in CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) with high comfort in data-driven decision making.
Willingness to represent EmpowerHome at industry events , including KW conferences and regional events.
