You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to drive innovation, enhance system security, and optimize our IT infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our hospital community. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a healthcare environment. Proven experience in overseeing hospital IT operations and implementing health information systems. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (preferrably including NYS DOH regualtions), including HIPAA and HITECH Act compliance. Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems, preferable with working knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse and clinical information systems. Experience with IT infrastructure and cloud computing solutions in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with clinical and administrative staff. Budget management experience, with the ability to manage financial resources effectively. Familiarity with cybersecurity threats and the implementation of security measures in a hospital environment. Ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with hospital goals and objectives. Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations. Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools in healthcare. Certification in relevant IT and healthcare technologies, such as CHCIO, CISSP, or PMP, is preferred.
