Insight Global is seeking a Director of IT to lead the strategic direction and execution of Commercial Applications, Business Intelligence (BI), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This Director is pivotal in innovating data-backed decision making and advancing digital transformation for the Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, and Marketing divisions of one of our local Pharmaceutical clients.

This will be a direct hire role - hybrid in Richmond, VA (Tues-Thurs)

Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years' of IT leadership experience to implement compliant and adaptable IT solutions that are aligned with compliance standards 5+ years' experience within life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry with a strong understanding of operations and regulatory requirements Strong cross-functional management experience in managing commercial applications, BI platforms, and AI initiatives that align with corporate strategy Strong collaboration skills to work with Data Science and Commercial leaders to improve strategies and efficiency, and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics Strong communication and collaboration experience to conduct vendor management and work with external stakeholders Experience managing Veeva CRM implementations and lifecycle management Experience overseeing integrations of ERP systems and external data sources Experience leading field force productivity and customer insights Experience leading BI strategies, such as Tableau, Power BI, data architecture and other visualization tools Experience creating KPI's and dashboards to track performance, customer engagement, and market updates Maintaining data compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR Experience promoting the integration of AI/ML to enhance strategies for forecasting and targeting Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and IQVIA data Strong experience with AWS, azure, and other cloud platforms, and data lakes

Nice to Have Skills and Experience: Masters or MBA
