HR Director Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred) 10+ years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years in a senior or director-level role Proven success managing both union and non-union environments Experience supporting mid- to large-sized organizations (300+ employees) Deep knowledge of employment law, labor relations, compensation, and compliance Demonstrated experience in budgeting, workforce planning, and compensation program design Hands-on leader with the ability to manage both strategy and daily HR operations Strong communicator and relationship builder Proven ability to mentor and develop HR team members Leadership style that combines empathy, consistency, and accountability Stable career history with a track record of growth and tenure HR Director Preferred Qualifications Background in mining, engineering, or industrial operations industries International experience preferred Experience leading HR during organizational growth, restructuring, or modernization Familiarity with safety programs, training, and field-based workforce challenges PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification #LI-LJ1 #INOCT225
