Our nonprofit client in Harlem, NYC is seeking a strategic leader to oversee their Human Resources department. Reporting to the President and CEO, this role involves designing and managing HR systems to support a sustainable business model, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, and fostering a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HR initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership and the board to meet organizational objectives.
Develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development to support the organization's mission.
Oversee HR functions including compensation, benefits, recruitment, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and present reports to the board and stakeholders as needed.
Support the overall mission and strategic goals as directed by senior leadership.

Membership in HR professional organizations preferred;multi-lingual skills are a plus.
