Director of Housekeeping
As the Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel. Reporting to the General Manager, your role will leverage your supervising experience to lead a team of housekeeping staff effectively. You will utilize your core skills in cleaning and management, along with your premium expertise in hospitality and leadership, to enhance operational efficiency. Your relevant experience in janitorial and custodial services will be essential in maintaining a pristine environment for our guests, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
Supervise and train housekeeping staff, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
Manage laundry services and ensure proper handling of linens and guest items.
Implement and maintain cleaning schedules, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with management to optimize housekeeping processes and enhance guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards and address any issues promptly.
Requirements
Must have, as a minimum, 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or other related medical facility.
Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred, but not required.
Experience in a Nursing Facility preferred
