Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and regulatory compliance to Executive Leadership. Ensure staff levels are sufficient to meet the needs of patients and families Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care Required Skills A few must-haves for a Director of Healthcare Services: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT) program Registered Nurse (RN): Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred Physical Therapist (PT): DPT Required Active license to practice as an Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT) in the state(s) in which patient care is provided. Five (5) years of home care experience as an RN or PT in last seven (7) years Three (3) years of of home care experience managing caregivers in last five (5) years Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing Home Healthcare services.
