This position oversees various aspects of CFCE’s business, including personnel management, budget management, policy development, and patient/ client satisfaction.

This position oversees various aspects of CFCE’s business, including personnel management, budget management, policy development, and patient/ client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic initiatives and patient service improvements.
- Design, review, and continuously improve administrative workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Health Center Operating Policies and Procedures by working in coordination with appropriate staff.
- Manage clinic operations in alignment with agency-established guidelines for both the medical dental and behavioral lines of business.
- Oversee the daily activities and workflows of front desk staff in the medical, dental and behavioral health clinics ensuring smooth and efficient front office operations including scheduling, patient registration, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Managers and finance team to address billing issues, collections, and discrepancies, supporting the financial integrity of the health center.
- Monitor provider productivity and ensure clinic staff are aligned with productivity benchmarks, in coordination with the CEO/CMO.
- Manage operations and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.
- Facilitate integration and coordination among medical, dental, and behavioral health services to promote comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure proper onboarding, training, and professional development of new and existing staff, in collaboration with HR.
- Organize and lead staff meetings, in-service trainings, and performance evaluations; ensure staff adherence to standards of care and administrative protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational and quality improvement activities.
- Oversee patient satisfaction efforts, including administration of surveys and follow-up actions based on feedback.
- Develop and manage a high-quality customer service Interact with patients to resolve concerns and enhance the patient experience.
- Coordinate with marketing to update patient communication materials and participate in patient recruitment efforts at community events.
- Serve as an active member of the Risk Management, Safety, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Committees.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing requirements, including Department of Health, HRSA, VFC, FTCA, and 340B programs.
- Assist in audit preparation and participation to maintain organizational accreditation and funding eligibility.
- Manage the SHAPP and Nurse Family Partnership teams and initiatives and events in collaboration with clinical and organizational outreach.
- Ensure that the clinics are maintained through a clean, safe, and patient-centered environment for healthcare delivery.
- Work collaborate with CFCE’s leadership team to ensure quality and standards reflects the organization’s culture.
- Develop and manage performance dashboards and scorecards to monitor key metrics, staff accountability, and quality outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration public health or health information management field
- 10+ years of experience in related field
- 10+ years supervising and leading a high performing team
- Experience in successfully managing the operations of a medical practice, specifically a FQHC (Federal Qualified Health Center), managing federal and state funding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant healthcare and administrative software
- Excellent leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
- Financial and accounting skills
- In-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices and standards
- Organization and time management skills
- Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry

Physical Requirements:
- Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone and respond to verbal questions.
- Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly to clients in person and over the telephone.
- Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, typing, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
- Requires exposure to the at-risk population.
