About the Role
As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organization. Your insights and expertise will guide strategic decision-making and help ensure the company's long-term financial health. By providing data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations, you will directly influence our growth trajectory and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans to optimize resource allocation and support strategic growth initiatives.
Design and enhance sophisticated financial models and tools to facilitate accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Partner cross-functionally to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive cost optimization and profitability.
Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
Proven track record of driving financial strategy, managing budgets, and delivering meaningful insights.
Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation of findings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
High attention to detail and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Experience in construction, industrial services, or utility services strongly preferred.
Proficiency in accounting and financial software systems.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA preferred but not required.
Graduate degree (MBA or master's in finance, accounting, etc.) preferred but not required.
