Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to join our team at the Wave Hotel. This position manages the daily operations of all outlets and banquets, will establish quality and service standards, and support the maximization of profits for our F&B units. Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and inspire the staffing, training, scheduling, and day-to-day activities of the restaurant, bar, and banquet teams to ensure operational excellence and a seamless guest experience.
- Be highly visible and engaged on the floor, spending time in the operation observing service, coaching in the moment, and holding team members accountable to high standards.
- Utilize strong business acumen to develop, implement, and manage the department's strategic business plan, annual budget, and financial forecasts to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Continually analyze, monitor, and control labor and food costs, implementing efficiencies and cost control measures without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
- Proactively market and promote all Food & Beverage outlets, creating and executing innovative menus, package deals, events, and promotions that drive traffic, enhance the hotel brand, and increase revenue.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest trends, needs, feedback, and concerns, using insights to improve offerings and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain a culture of performance where expectations are clear, accountability is prioritized, and recognition is regularly provided.
- Address and resolve performance issues directly and constructively, fostering a disciplined, results-oriented team environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Culinary, and Events teams to align F&B operations with hotel goals and guest expectations.
- Remain at the desk only when necessary; prioritize presence in the operation to guide and support the team effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage management within an upscale hotel or resort environment.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and achieving profitability goals.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
