ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists the Finance Leadership and operational leaders as a strategic, hand-on business partner.
- Leads annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and frequent financial model building for the operations, physician practices, and facilities segments
- Utilizes financial reporting and forecasting tools to facilitate the development of quarterly financial forecasts for multiple business entities and departments.
- Prepares accurate and timely financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors, department, and operational leaders.
- Leads monthly meetings with various operational and functional leaders to review and discuss financial performance.
- Creates financial models and pro forma analyses to support sound decision-making; for example, analyzing the financial impact of new business acquisitions, services or processes.
- Establishes strong working relationships with business partners (all levels of the organization).
- Communicates in a responsive, professional manner with all HOPCo employees and third parties.
- Ensures that regular, consistent communication takes place. Proactively communicates with colleagues and shares accurate, up-to-date information (whether the information is favorable or unfavorable).
- Exhibits integrity without exception, which inspires trust and respect throughout the organization. Prioritizes honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior while maintaining confidentiality.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a different discipline will be considered if the candidate has extensive professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
EXPERIENCE
- At least seven (7) years experience in corporate finance or operations finance. Experience in health care services is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated working knowledge of profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and inter-company financial reporting.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting functions including budgeting/forecasting, financial modeling, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
SKILLS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and comfort with complexity; respond to ambiguity by working with others to gain clarity and alignment of goals/objectives.
- Keen attention to detail and pursuit of truth/accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial forecasting tools (Solver).

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal office environment.
- Occasional travel requested.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
- Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
- Some bending and stretching are required.
- Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
