Director Of Finance Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of recent experience in casino or gaming finance Minimum 2 years of finance or accounting team leadership Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience) Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Gaming License Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Demonstrated knowledge of casino revenue operations, cage functions, and drop processes CPA preferred, but not required

Must Haves

Oversee the financial operations of cage, drop team, revenue audit, and asset accounting functions Direct all internal and external audits with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and compliance Manage short- and long-term cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control Hire, train, and develop a high-performing finance team Ensure strict adherence to the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal control procedures Meet regularly with vendors, consultants, and auditors to support strategic financial operations Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks while supporting business growth

Director Of Finance Preferred Background & Skills

CPA certification Experience in hospitality-based or resort-style casino operations Working knowledge of casino management systems and financial software platforms Strong coaching, leadership, and team development capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
